Who is Turtledove for?

For couples. An archive is meant for exactly two people – you create it and invite your partner by email.

Is our data really private?

Yes. There are no ads and no tracking. Your content is visible only to the two of you, and photos are served strictly through authentication. You can even keep individual entries secret from each other.

What does it cost?

There's a permanently free version with limits – no credit card needed. Premium is currently available on request only: an annual plan (€49/year) or a lifetime purchase (€249, one-time). Reach out via early access – we set up Premium manually.

How do I unlock Premium?

Premium is currently available on request only (no self-checkout). Use the “Request early access” button (on the pricing page or in Settings) to get access – we set up Premium manually and bill the annual plan or lifetime.

How do I invite my partner?

In Settings, enter their email address – they'll receive a secure invitation link. Once they accept, you'll share the same archive.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. The annual plan can be cancelled anytime, effective at the end of the term – just send us a quick note. Your data stays with you afterward in the free version.

What happens to our data if we cancel?

Your data stays intact; you keep using it on the free plan (with limits). You can download a full export (photos + data) anytime, or delete your account.

Does the app work on a phone?

Yes, it's built as an installable PWA – just “Add to Home Screen,” and it behaves like a real app, including push reminders.
